Nike Max Air
The maximum in impact cushioning, is designed to take brutal, repetitive impacts and minimize their effects on the body and your performance. Air Max units are made through a technique called “blow-molding”, allowing for the greatest volume of Nike Air without weakening the Air-Sole unit. Duel-pressure cushioning addresses the need for protection and rear foot stability. The hallmark of the Air Max technology is a visible air unit in the heel. The Air Max provides athletes with full-length impact protection.
Bill Bowermano, Nike founder, designed pattern. The first pad with this writing Bill Bowermanas created by the addition of liquid rubber into his wifes waffle skillet. When the foot hits the ground, large and deep overhanging squares absorb impact energy. Provides excellent adhesion.

This year saw Nike debut the Air Max Flair, and they're closing out 2017 by giving us a preview of the updated Air Max Flair 50.
The original Flair, though new, felt familiar to Nike enthusiasts, with its Pippen-esque Air branding across the front quarter and full-foot Air unit reminiscent of AM97s. The Flair 50 similarly dips into the Swoosh’s back catalogue, albeit taking cues from a different decade. It is impossible to miss the Air Max 1 mudguard that curves around the toe, and even the foam midsole and heel bubble are giving us ’87 vibes.
Standout elements are carried over to the new version, the sock fit and asymmetrical lacing keep the shoe’s DNA intact. And the ‘Air’ script remains, it’s just been moved to the heel. A mini Swoosh on the roll toe ensures that people will know what you're rocking from the front and the back.
